Very comprehensive and incredibly useful. I think ‘start small, dream big’ is such simple and potent – but sometimes overlooked – advice. It can be really difficult to find the balance when trying to set realistic (but still motivational) goals.

Incredible post! This is the kind of material one wants to have in a daily journal or calendar.

The media diet topic is perhaps the most precious to me. I’ve been talking a lot about “digital fasting” as a way of combatting “digital amnesia.” One day off the computer per week is an amazing cure for much stress – especially if you have a small army of robots who make it appear that you’re still online.

And they really are robots. No humans are exploited in the process of digital fasting! 😉

    Thanks so much Anthony! And we can say we practice ‘Digital fasting’ – one day a week (usually Saturday) we don’t turn our computers on at all, unless we’re watching a fun movie in the evening. Amazingly, there’s actually a world out there beyond our screens:).

I look at this like a huge post!!! De-stressing with the morning mayhem is definitely a good start for the day. Doing your morning routine in a good stress-free aura really sets the tone for the rest of the day and it works for me!

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the benefits of morning de-stressing Rob. I couldn’t agree more. If you start the day frazzled, it’s much harder to try and get back to calm. I find lingering over breakfast is essential – but of course, that means getting up earlier than would otherwise be necessary. I watch the birds outside our window in pajamas for as long as I possibly can (that’s often an hour) 🙂
